GX Systems

The GX furling unit is designed for downwind assimetrics/gennakers, which are used in wind angles between 70 to 120 degrees. It has transformed the handling of these sails for light handed crew. With the sail already furled, just hoist on the halyard, pull on the sheet and the overdrive comes into action. An additional bow sprit keeps the sail clear of the forestay and exposed to the wind. To finish, simply ease the sheet, pull on the endless line, and drop the furled sail back into the bag.
